The Cook, the Thief...

An excellent 8664 Gallery Hop tonight, and my buddy Inka deserves full credit for putting it together. She arranged the music, baked cakes, designed a nice e-mail announcement with her own photography, and most importantly, she got people to show up. Among the people, unfortunately, was a street bum who absconded with a jar full of cash that we had set out to collect donations for the 8664 cause. We probably got hit for a hundred bucks or so, most of which was converted into Sterno and Mad Dog by morning, I imagine. All of that hard work, and our initial attempt at fund raising was dashed by a crasher. But we still managed to advance the cause another step, and that's what counts.
