Conscience

I continue to be astounded by aberrant human nature and its political ramifications, dear reader. A few weeks ago I told you how I'd learned that in politics, sometimes ambition = ruthlessness; I've since also learned that ambition, for some people at least, requires the complete abandonment of conscience.
